Mote Park Indoor Bowls Club is a private members club managed by an elected Board of Directors, situated 1.5 miles south east of Maidstone town centre and located in Mote Park. Our temperature controlled 8-rink facility includes a good size restaurant, bar and viewing area, facilities for the disabled, meeting rooms and ample car parking. The Club was founded in 1987 to provide indoor bowling for the residents of Maidstone and the surrounding villages. It was one of the first Cygnet-built clubs in Kent with a membership of 1,250 and a waiting list of 100. Since then new indoor Clubs have opened throughout Kent but members still come from a twenty mile radius of the town to make up the current membership of 800. Apart from catering for the senior players, the Club has an active junior section between the ages of 8 and 18 years under the direction of fully approved instructors as required by the Child Protection legislation.
